El Vaticano propone una Semana Santa en septiembre

El Covid-19 está paralizando países enteros: sus economías, sus gentes y casi su espíritu. Y la Semana Santa en toda España. O al menos de momento. Porque la Congregación para el Culto Divino del Vaticano ha emitido este viernes un decreto para la Iglesia Católica universal con el firme propósito pretende trasladar las procesiones que a septiembre.

Concretamente el decreto firmado dice: «Las expresiones de piedad popular y las procesiones que enriquecen los días de la Semana Santa y del Triduo Pascual, a juicio del obispo diocesano, podrán ser trasladadas a otros días convenientes, por ejemplo, el 14 y 15 de septiembre liturgia de las celebraciones propias de la Semana Santa». Y se recuerda que en estos tiempos van a seguir realizándose, en algunos templos, aunque sea a puerta cerrada liturgias que podrán ser retransmitidas por televisión.

Las fechas no están puestas al libre albedrío. El día 14 de septiembre se celebra en la Iglesia la festividad de la Exaltación de la Santa Cruz. Y el día 15, es el de los Dolores de la Virgen María. Por tanto el Vaticano sugiere fechas muy marcadas para la Iglesia Católica. La proposición , de ahí que estas hayan sido las fechas sugeridas por el Vaticano. No obstante, está por ver si finalmente este decreto es aplicado o no por cada diócesis y en qué medida.
